LHT is seeking to fill up a pivotal role in a service department management position which requires the desire to work in, and a track record of success in, a dynamic technology and business environment. The Service Manager acts as the key advocate as the “face” of Link High to deliver the highest quality of service to our clients. Our clients are local municipalities, school districts and SMB private companies located in NJ and PA.

The ideal candidate will implement Service Management best practices and be responsible for the direction and management of the Technical Team / Help Desk, Incident Management, Client/Vendor Management and SLA (Service Level Agreement) Management.

Sales Representative – IT Services

Link High Technologies Inc., a leading systems integrator providing IT solutions to businesses since 1992, has an exciting career opportunity for a highly motivated Sales Representative who is ready to move ahead in a progressive industry. We are focused on helping our clients succeed by understanding their unique technology requirements and developing a fully customized program to care for their computer network systems.

We incorporate systems, processes, tools and best practices into a suite of managed services that increase user productivity, stabilize costs and improve security. Our solutions include network installation services, consulting, hardware and software sales, managed services, network security and remote access solutions. We have developed strong partnerships with our vendors.

As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities in the small and medium business market and introduce new products and services to our existing clients for up-sell and cross-sell opportunities. You will meet with decision-makers to analyze the client’s requirements by performing a technology assessment of their existing network infrastructure and support system. Additionally, you will identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions to increase business efficiencies and productivity while reducing costs to monitor, manage, secure and improve the network systems of our prospective clients. The sales process will be based on value as you use a consultative, customer-focused sales approach that is unique to our industry and sets us apart from our competitors. You will be expected to meet or exceed the projected dollar volumes in terms of revenues and profitability, as well as meeting the sales activity requirements.

The ideal candidate possesses the following skills and experience:

  • 2 to 3 years prior IT sales experience including prospecting for new business through cold calling and direct meetings;
  • Proven success of consistently achieving and/or exceeding monthly sales revenues;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Outstanding organizational skills;
  • Strong telephone and face-to-face presentation skills; ability to listen well and the ability to create sales opportunities;
  • College degree desired, preferably in Sales/Marketing or Business Administration;
  • Self-starter with a solid work ethic and the ability to work independently or in a team environment;
  • Strong working knowledge of the sales process and a heavy emphasis on client satisfaction (candidates who are responsive and empathetic to client needs);
  • Commitment to achieve vendor specific sales-certifications with our key business partners; and
  • Ability to travel locally.

Help Desk /First Level Computer Technician

The help desk/1st level engineer position entails working at our client location in Atlantic City solving desktop, server,  software, and general network problems. Link High Technologies Inc. provides services to a wide range of clients who outsource their IT needs to us. The person chosen for this position will be exposed to a variety of local and wide area network technologies. We are looking for someone who can work through tough situations and solve challenging problems.  

Job Requirements: You must have at least 2 years experience working with desktop operating systems. A solid history of working in a team environment is required. 

Required skill set: TWO years supporting Windows XP Pro, Windows 2000, and/or Windows 98 in a production business environment. You must know basic local and wide area networking concepts, topologies, and how the Internet works.  

Relevant certifications: Preference will be given to individuals who possess the following certifications. Note that certifications are not equivalent to work experience. A+, MCP, Network + certifications requested. Note that if you do not have the CompTIA Network + or A+ at this time you will be required to pass ONE of the tests within 60 days of start date. Only ONE is required. 

Communication skills: We seek an individual who loves working with people and is able to articulate technical problems into layman's terms for customers who are not technical. Candidates must also demonstrate the ability to write clearly and effectively. 

Geographic area: You MUST currently reside within a 30 mile radius of Atlantic City, NJ and MUST be a resident of NJ. Applicants who are currently not living in the area in which we do business will not be considered at this time. 

Compensation: Full Time or Part time. Hourly. $18
